11th Annual Ski for Parkinson’s Event

Join us to raise awareness and crucial funding for those living with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners in the Yampa Valley community. All proceeds benefit the programs and services provided by Parkinson Association of the Rockies.

 

About SKI FOR PARKINSON’S

Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 | 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Haymaker Nordic Center, 34855 East US Highway 40, Steamboat Springs

The theme for the 11th annual Ski for Parkinson's is Outta this World! We highly encourage team costumes based on your team’s representation of Outta this World. Best costumes will be recognized!

 

Ski, Snowshoe or Snow Bike with Brunch: $85/person

Brunch only: $60/person

 

Admission Includes: All-day (Cross Country Ski, Skate Ski, Snow Bike or Snowshoe) Trail Pass and fabulous drawing prizes! Equipment rental is not included. Ski Bikes cannot be reserved and may not be available on the day of the event, pending the condition of the bike trail.

DONATIONS FOR DRAWING TICKETS: $10/ENTRY AND BUNDLE FOR SAVINGS!

$10 for 1 entry, $25 for 3 entries, $50 for 6 entries, $75 for 10 entries, or $100 for 15 entries.

If you are unable to attend the event but would still like to participate in the prize drawing, purchase your tickets online and then call or email Elisabeth by 4:00pm on Wednesday, January 29th at ebraun@parkinsonrockies.org or 303-830-1839 and tell her which package you would like your entries to go towards.

All proceeds from Ski for Parkinson’s are designated to benefit Parkinson Association of the Rockies activities including support groups, exercise classes and educational seminars. Your support of Ski for Parkinson’s allows all people with Parkinson’s and their care partners, in the Yampa Valley communities, to attend any of these programs and services free of charge.

 

Parkinson Association of the Rockies provides supportive services and programs (free of charge) to those living with Parkinson’s and their Care Partners in the Yampa Valley communities. Ski for Parkinson’s is dedicated to the memory of Bill Root. Bill was a leader in forming the Yampa Valley Parkinson Support Group, the Parkinson’s Nordic Instructional Program and the inaugural Ski for Parkinson’s Event. Bill’s kindness and humor are sorely missed - but his passion continues to live on through this event!
